Candace and Eli did well at the County Fair in September. Eli was entered in Pre-Novice Obedience (shown here doing the figure 8) and Candace won the trophy for High Point Dog Exhibitor (shown in the decorated benching area.
Congratulations, you make me proud.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND...
Some photos of the dogs that are no longer with us, especially Marbles, who was our most successful dog in the showring.
These photos did not make it into this revised, much abbreviated site but I always planned to bring them back.

I have made some additions to the section on Tibet on my Links page. Most of the sites focus on the upcoming Olympics in Beijing and hope to make the August 2008 event a catalyst for change in Tibet.

We are thrilled!!
Eli was invited to the TTCA's Top Twenty Invitational for the second year in a row.
It is held May 29th, 2007 in Owensboro, Kentucky in conjunction with the National Specialty.
Thank you Candace for giving Eli such good care and presenting him so well in Breed and Juniors.
We would love to take Eli but my health problems always get in the way. But is it tempting, so who knows.....??

Eli had a good start to the new year.
No group placing but he took the breed both days and Candace was one of the 6 finalists in the Junior Invitational in Portland, OR with Eli. I enjoyed the pictures Annette sent.

2007, time for a brand new 'News' page. I wonder what the year has in store and what newsworthy items I will fill this page with.
First to my health news:
In November I finally had major foot surgery. Recovery is slow but after 10 weeks of not being able to drive and using a wheelchair and crutches I am now getting around a bit better. I don't have to wear the heavy walker boot any more and am allowed to drive again.
Willa and Harley spent 12 days in a kennel, a new experience for them. Our regular dog sitter was away unfortunately. They were happy to see me back and we have settled into our regular routine again.
