A new year and lots of hope for progress with Harley in Rally. We even had a few small workouts although my walking is still not very good.

Then poor Harley got very sick and spent a whole week at the vet's, enduring all kinds of tests and finally a major operation to remove a small piece fo plastic. He came home for two days and we were hopeful that he would recover but it was not to be. On January 31, Harley's life came to a suddden end, much too soon and inspite of all the effort by the vet clinic..

Willa and I are devastated, we miss him terribly. "Rest in Peace", dear Harley.

I composed an Obituary for our TTCC newsletter which I will share here:

Willa and I will keep each other company. Maybe we will even start Rally training in the future. She had Obedience training years ago and seems to remember the commands.

As the year progressed we experienced more sad losses.

In June Tuija from Finland lost her beloved Tashi.

Fin. & Multi Ch. Dalghani's Mang Ga La Tashi - born in 1999.

And in September Lisa and Fabrizio from Italy had to say good-bye to Nike.

Int. & Multi Ch. Dalghani's Ma Ni Kar Lo, ROM - born in 2001.

Rest in Peace, Tashi and Nike, we will always have fond memories of you.
