Adofau Chonga Dalghani
 |
Meet the newest member of our Dalghani family. Harley arrived
from Finland on the 15th of November 2003.
Four years ago we sent his mother Mona to Finland, now we
are happy to welcome her son back to Canada. Harley was born
July 20, 2003. He is 10 weeks old in this picture.
Thank you, Kirsi, for letting us have this promising puppy.
Harley loves his toys and is a keen retriever (good for obedience
later on). He is the only TT we have ever had that fetches
endlessly (until our arm is worn out!). He waits to have his
toy thrown and delivers it back right into our hands immediately.
Harley is wonderful company for me and his friend Willa.
And when I go on a trip I don't have to worry. Harley and
Willa are welcomed with open arms by a family that loves both
of the dogs.

Welcome to Canada, Harley.
Harley is almost 6 months old already and getting
ready for upcoming shows.
We have high hopes for him.
Harley is pointed in Canada and USA.
We had to take a break from shows. Pete's death, moving and a back operation
took priority.
While waiting it out Harley enjoys his walks
and playing - usually far too rough - with his best friend Willa.

January 10, 2006 - Poor Harley!!
Harley had to have his leg shaved and is wearing a cone quite
often. He had licked his left front leg until it got sore
and only shaving guaranteed healing. We were hoping to get
back into shows soon but will have to wait for at least 10
months now until the hair has grown back in.
Frustrating! I took a picture of Harley yesterday after his
bath. |
July 2006 - The hair is growing in, maybe Harley can get back
into shows soon.
In the meantime Harley and Willa became the proud parents of three handsome boys in August.
Although I was hoping to get Harley back into the show ring I don't think that is going to happen. Both dogs had to sit out for a long time while I had two foot surgeries and a back operation.
In 2008 Willa and Harley had their second litter, this time 1 female and 5 males. All the puppies have found excellent homes.
I did some basic obedience training with Harley and in March 2009 he passed his Canine Good Neighbour test.
We also started Rally training and took classes at TNT in Abbotsford. It was a lot of fun and we decided to work towards the Rally Novice title after I got back from a holiday in Germany in June.
Although I have trouble walking and am waiting for a knee replacement Harley qualified in the three trials we entered in September and October 2009 and now is:
" Adofau Chonga Dalghani, RN, CGN "
I am very proud of my boy and hope to continue training in 2010.
